Up

The inspiration for this look was colourful Kevin from Disney/Pixar's "Up". She's probably the cutest bird ever!

And this is the look itself:

The lid colour is actually darker than it appears in the pictures! I did this some time ago so I cannot remember exactly what I used, but the lid colour is Lime Crime Duchess, the orange is a Kiko eyeshadow and there are some shades from the Zoeva palette in it as well. Oh, and the purple is one of the new Catrice eyeshadows...

Springtime Elf

I felt like doing something colourful again, and got my Springtime Skipper out - one of my favourite MAC shadows of all time. To give the colour some more punch, I layered it with Chartreuse pigment and a very thin layer of Pure Ore. Crease colours are all from the Zoeva 88 Mattes palette:

Streak of Gold

I'm back! I had a lovely week in Montpellier and enjoyed some sunshine before winter starts and it gets really cold... This was just one of those looks where I started out without even a trace of a concept, just dipping my brush into a random colour and do whatever fancy strikes me. I started with vivid matte blue in the outer corners, continuing into a lighter shade and finishing with Lime Crime Mermaid in the inner corner. To add to the different textures, I decided to add some metallic gold - thus almost creating the appearance of leafy gold with MAC Pure Ore Metal-X:

Winter Candy

Hey everyone,

did you have a snowy weekend as well? (This question is not for the brazilian gals - I know you are enjoying the sunshine :P!!) We were supposed to have a big snowstorm here but it's been all peaceful and quiet with only about 7 cm of snow. Anyway, with all the recent snowfalls I decided to do something wintery. I'm not very convinced by the outcome, but no risk, no fun - right?? The white line and the glitter in the crease are just not right, but at least it's good to know to avoid that in the future... Oh, and please ignore the hot mess a.k.a. my hair!!

Violet Duchess

I've been ill since last friday, so I try to make good use of my time and paint a little :) Nothing too complicated, but I was feeling like some blue/purple combo today. The lid was done with MAC Lovely Lily and Violet pigments, and the crease is MAC Cool Heat, Lime Crime Duchess and Pure Luxe Turquoise Aura. The liner essence Pretty Cool is feathered out in the outer corner and I added some teal sequins for that glamour touch.

A Night at the Opera

This look is perfect for a night out! A mixture of baroque, victorian, princess and fantasy style, the basic ingredients are quite simple: lots and lots of lashes and pink sparkle eyeshadow! I have never used lower lashes before, and next time I will probably glue them on closer to my real lashline. Gotta learn trying (:

For the look, all you have to do is prime your eyelids, apply Barry M. Fine Glitter Dust #7 all over your lid (preferably wet with a flat synthetic brush) and blend upwards with a bit of matte pink eyeshadow. Use ample black liner on the lower lid as well as white kohl on the lower waterline and below the lashline. Glue on falsies (Upper and Lower lashes by Red Cherry (bought from http://mscuppycakes.com/), add some mascara and you're done!
