Selena Gomez Inspired Makeup Look using Drugstore Makeup

I know a lot of you are Selena Gomez fans, so I decided to do this makeup look inspired by her "Love You Like a Love Song" music video. She had many makeup looks in the video, but my favorite one is the smoky purple eye makeup with silver on the inner corners and bold pink lips. It's a very dramatic look with the heavy eyes and lips, but it actually works in my opinion. Purple and pink compliments each other and it's such a fun look to wear. If it's too much for you, then I suggest to opt for a lighter pink or nude lips instead.

I used mostly Drugstore makeup, so this look is affordable to re create. I hope you guys like it.

I used the matte purple eye shadow in my NYC City Duet eye shadow duo in Island Sunset $2.99. I love this duo because it's so pigmented and easy to blend.

I used the primer and the silver eye shadow in my NYC Individual Eyes for Smokey Browns $4.49. Buy it HERE. I applied it on the inner 1/3 of the lower lash line and inner corners of the eyes. I also applied it wet to intensify the color.

Products used:

face:
-NYC Skin Matching foundation in medium to deep
-Almay Bright Eyes eye base and concealer in medium
-Sally Hansen Luminous Matte pressed powder in Medium/Deep

eyes:
-The primer on NYC Individual Eyes eye shadow palette.
-NYC City Duet eye shadow in Island Sunset
-NYX single eye shadow in White
-Stila Smudge Pot in black
-Maybelline Volum Falsies mascara

cheeks:
-Milani Mineral blush in Mai Tai

lips:
-EOS lip balm
-Wet n Wild Mega Last lipstick in 905D Smokin' Hot Pink

Kat DeLuna Makeup Inspired Look..Whine Up Music Video

Yes, it's been forever since I posted a makeup look. Shame on me! Thanks to one of my subbies who requested a Kat DeLuna makeup inspired look from her music video Whine Up, I was able to get back in the game. If you're not familiar with Kat and her song, I posted the music video at the end of this post so you can watch it. The song is quite old but it's a really a good one. I love it lol. It's one of those songs that gets stuck in your head after hearing it a couple of times lol.

Kat wore different makeup looks in the music video but the one that stood out the most was her bright metallic apple green eyes with heavy black eye liner, nude lips and glowy dewy face...so hot! Too bad I couldn't find a decent photo of her makeup but you'll see it in the video so make sure you watch it.

A little cam whoring...

In the video, if you look closely at her eye makeup, there was a little bit of gold peeking out behind the green  so that's why I added gold e/s on the outer crease to achieve the similar look.

clumpy lower lashes...oh nooo!!!

GET THE LOOK

I used these eyeshadows for my eyes.

To achieve Kat's dewy and glowy face, I used Milani e/s in Classic Beige. I applied it with a stippling brush to highlight my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose and a little bit on the forehead. You can use a highlight powder but a shimmery beige eyeshadow works just as well^_^

cheeks:

LOOK: It's Britney...B*tch!

I don't care what people say. I love Britney Spears ^_^. Yeah she had her crazy and gross moments in the past but overall she's awesome. I like her because of her dancing and her makeup. I'm really not a big fan of her singing voice but I do like a lot of her songs lol. I just contradicted myself but believe me, I do like her lol. Her song Lucky is one of my guiltiest pleasure and after all these years,I still know the lyrics and all O_o.

I've been wanting to do a Britney Spears inspired makeup for the longest time and I finally did it. I was inspired by her I'm a Slave for You music video. It's one of my fav video from her. In the video, she had some dramatic light bluish and black eyes with some nude lips. Gosh, she looked so hot in that video.

The look is dramatic so I would sport this look in a party or any night time occasion. I hope you guys like it and please watch the makeup tutorial if you want to learn how I did the look.

Celeb Inspired Look: Nicole Scherzinger/Dancing with the Stars.

OMG Nicole is one of my favorite celebrities besides Kim Kardashian lol. The only reason why I watch Dancing with the Stars is because of her. She's sooo gorgeous and has a killer body. I've been telling myself that I want a body like her. Oh well at least I can copy her makeup lol.

So I was inspired to do a Silver cut crease look that she sported at show last night. I could not find a really good picture of her makeup. I only found a crappy one where she has her eyes down and you can see the eyeshadows slightly.
