M.U.A Cory Walia on His Make-up Favorites Part Two

Earlier I posted Cory Walia's eye make-up favorites, here. Now, he shares his face and lip favorites.

For Your Face
Foundation
Cory Walia recommends

• Kryolan Ultra Fluid Foundation, It is great for covering up those blemishes
• Bobbi Brown BBU Palette is my favorite because this is an easy-to-use palette which also features an empty well for mixing shades.

What Cory has to say
Most of the foundations are white based. Cory likes using Bobbi Brown because they are yellow based and blend in very well with desi skin tones. Before applying foundation I like to use M.A.C Prep + Prime Face Protect SPF50 and M.A.C Strobe Cream for a perfect canvas to work on with an illuminating finish.

Powder Foundation and Loose Powder
Cory Walia recommends

• M.A.C Studio Fix comes in a variety of colors and suits Indian skin tones very well
  
• For loose powders he likes Dermablend Loose Setting Powder it makes foundations and concealers smudge-resistant and water-resistant.

Blushes
Cory Walia recommends

• M.A.C Blushcremes, he likes them because they blend well. They give a vibrant, dewy and fresh look to the cheeks.
• Bobbi Brown Powder Blush, because none of them are shimmery, they have a natural, matte texture he loves.
  

What Cory has to say
Desi skin has a yellow pigment, we mainly have wheatish or dark complexions. So you should use peach, rust, mauve and other warm colors on your face. Also if you use warm colors on your cheeks, don't use cool colors like light pink, blue, green and yellow for your eyes or lips.

For Your Lips
Lipsticks
Cory Walia recommends

• M.A.C lipsticks, because of the moisturizing effects they have, and they come in so many colors. M.A.C Angel, Faux, and Taupe are his favorite shades.
• His other favourite are Bobbi Brown Lip Colors for their creamy, semi-matte texture.
  

What Cory has to say
Fair skinned women can carry off almost any shade, from peaches to browns. If you have a wheatish complexion you can try some browns and mauve colors or go in for deep pinks. If you have dark skin, then you should use browns and maroons. But Cory says that he has, "even used lighter colors on darker skins, what matters is how you carry it off."

Lip Glosses
Cory Walia recommends

• Lancôme Color Fever Gloss, I love the bright range of colors
  
• M.A.C Tinted Lipglasses, it moisturizes and gives the lips an unbeatable shine
  
• Chanel Glossimers, their finish is non-sticky, and I love the opaque sheen they gave.
  

What Cory likes to do-
"Instead of using lipsticks, I prefer to use lip glosses. I line the lips with a lip liner and then gloss them up. The colors and look lasts longer this way," he tells us. Cory tells us that shimmer actually looks very good on wheatish and darker complexions.
