J.R. Watkins Winners

All I can say is “Wow!”

Y’all wanted some J.R. Watkins prizes, huh? Well, the time has come to announce the winners. Looks like the new year is off to a beautiful start for Nancy J. She is the brand new owner of the Lemon Cream Dream Kit. Equally lucky is Beth (bethersparker) – she will receive the Treat Your Hands & Feet Kit.

If you didn’t win, but want to test your luck – be sure to enter the Spoiled Pretty giveaway sponsored by The Body Shop; contest closes at 9 pm EST on Wednesday, January 2nd. Good luck.

Stay tuned – the giveaways aren’t slowing down anytime soon. Thanks to everyone who entered!

J.R. Watkins Giveaway

'Twas the day before Christmas,
When all through the blogosphere...
A little elf named Daneen shouted,
"Another giveaway is here!"

Okay, Shakespeare it ain’t.

I promised you a December chock-full of giveaways – and I’m an elf of my word. Around these parts, contests don’t take a holiday. I know that lots of you have been emptying your wallets and swiping those credit cards, purchasing gifts for friends and family members this Christmas. Well, J.R. Watkins and I would like to return the favor – so we’re giving you another opportunity to get spoiled pretty!

One winner will receive a 'Lemon Cream Dream Kit', which includes: Lemon Cream Shea Butter, Lemon Cream Lotion, Pure Lemon Body Oil, Lemon Hand Salve, Original Body Care Kit (a retail value of $51). You’re going to love the scent – which smells exactly like Lemon Pastry Creme Girl Scout Cookies.

One runner-up will win a ‘Treat your Hands & Feet Kit’ – comprised of Peppermint Foot Cream, Peppermint Foot Scrub, and Lavender Hand Salve (a retail value of $27).

To enter the contest, leave a comment in the comments section below by 9 pm EST on Monday, December 31st - be sure to include your name and email address (even if you have a Blogger profile). Or email me at spoiledpretty@gmail.com.

Disclaimer: some of you have entered the contest by leaving a comment, but did not include your email address or a name - as I instructed above. Because some names are very common, please include your full name (or first name and last initial) - so that when I announce a winner, I can be as specific as possible. Also any comment without an email address in it (I need it to get in touch with you, in the event that you win) will be declared ineligible. So when in doubt, enter by emailing spoiledpretty@gmail.com. Thank you.

A winner will be chosen at random from among the entrants. On Tuesday, January 1st, I’ll announce the winners’ names. Please, only one comment per person; duplicate comments will not increase your chances of winning. Contest is open to U.S. & Canadian residents. Good luck!

Talk To The Hands

If your hands could talk, they would probably say, “Quit paying so much attention to your face, and spend some time on us!”

Winter weather can be tough on skin - especially thin skin, like that on your hands. Warm winter gloves and mittens can help shield against frigid winds and cold temperatures; but to prevent dryness, chapping, and cracking, your hands need some extra protection.

Shea butter has become a popular remedy for dry skin because it absorbs quickly without being greasy; and one of the best hand care products out there is J.R. Watkins’ Lemon Cream Shea Butter Hand Repair Moisturizer.

Shea butter, cocoa butter and five oils are whipped for a smooth, spreadable feel that’s perfect for in-home manicures and hand massages. Or keep a tube in your handbag for hydration on the go. And the scent (exactly like the Lemon Pastry Creme Girl Scout Cookies) is so deliciously intoxicating that you’ll want to slather all over your body…luckily, J.R. Watkins is one step ahead of us and created Lemon Cream Shea Butter and Lemon Cream Hand & Body Lotion.

Bottom line – this is a rich hand cream, on a pauper’s budget. Visit Target or jrwatkins.com and pick up a tube today!
