Trends like beautifully contoured skin, gray smoky eyes, colorful eyes and lips, lighting and brightening make-up and fleshy metallic tones look great on desi women. This season is all about playing with textures and colors. Orange is a huge color for next season and it looks fabulous on Indian skin tones!

On adapting trends from runway to everyday
The best way to use runway trends in your make-up regime is to take elements of the make-up you really like and adapt it into your own personal style. You could admire a strong smoky eyes look with a red lip during the shows, but you can simply take the smoky eyes aspect of the look and add a pink glossy lip to it instead; or you could just go for the strong red lip.

On the right technique to contour
The best way to contour is to go with a foundation shade that is two shades darker than your skin tone. You can start by contouring in your cheek bones and then blending in the same shade of foundation around your jaw line, temples and into your hair line. This will frame your face and add dimension to your skin.
