Manish Arora continues to delight us with his over the top shows (and product launches) and he is quickly making a name as a hot ticket during Paris Fashion Week. The New Delhi-based designer heightened the level of his presentation for spring by setting up at Cirque d'hiver to show a circus-themed collection.Model Angela Lindvall opened the show, followed by one crystal encrusted and embroidered look after another. These designs were shadowed by pantomimes, which added yet another level of theatrics to a collection that also included swingy jackets and stiff mini dresses with rounded bustiers and teacup skirts. These edgy embellishments reminded us of the couture antics of early Alexander McQueen shows.
Last season, Arora launched his shoe line in collaboration with Casadei. This season he gifted guests with samples of his new makeup line for M.A.C. With a multi-colored, crystal encrusted compact as well as tangerine and lime colored lipstick holders, it's a hot-to-have series—if you can get your hands on it.
