without any base. The colors seems to be more brighter in person.
...with concealer as a base. The camera washed out the colors and you cant seem to tell the difference between lighter colors but trust me its more nicer in person.
underneath a dark base.
PROS:
-The packaging is compact and light weight.
-The texture of the eyeshadows are silky and smooth. Its quite nice.
-I must say that the pigmentation is okay.I feel like the #3 cool light bluish lavander appeared more pigemented on the lids compare to #4 cool dim gray. I do have to say that you need a color base underneath so the colors would show up more.
-Very user friendly. There is an easy to follow instructions at the back of the quad on how to use the colors.
-The price is awesome.
-The price is awesome.
-The staying power of the eyeshadow is pretty good underneath a good eye primer.
-This quad is perfect for everyday use and perfect for a hint of color in their eyes.
CONS:
-Packaging seems to be flimsy so be careful not to drop it.
-I had a difficult time making the color appear on my lids using an eye shader brush. I suggest using a sponge tip applicator or your fingers to apply the colors. Pat on the colors!
Final thought:
I actually love this quad. Don't expect an "in your face" pigmentation from the colors because I dont think its meant for a bright look. The colors are perfect for a hint of color for a day time. Also, the quad is perfect for beginners because it is very user friendly.
