My favorite drugstore lotion

I picked up this awesome lotion called Apricot Oil firming body lotion by C. Booth at my local Rite Aid last month around Thanksgiving. I was running low on my Gold Bond body lotion so I needed a new one. I wanted to try something new and this product caught my interest. The product description said, "You won't find a body lotion that works harder." Haha, it sounded promising and confident so I bought it lol. Not because I believed what it said, I just wanted to try it out to see if it worked. Well it turned out to be an awesome body lotion. I've been using it every single day and I'm almost out since my mom and aunt was secretly using it because they love it too ^_^

PACKAGING, AMOUNT
As you can see it looks like any regular lotion bottle with a pump to dispense the product easily. It has 15 fl oz/443 ml so you get a lot of product and it will last you a long time unless your mom and aunt uses it in secret  then you need to buy yourself another bottle.

TEXTURE, PERFORMANCE, SCENT
When it comes to any lotion type products, I prefer a thicker texture. I feel like they're more effective in moisturizing the skin. I may be wrong but that's just my opinion. I'm used to the texture of the Gold Bond body lotion which is really thick, a little sticky and kind'a difficult to distribute through out the body. But this lotion is different. It has the right texture that I really like. It's not too thin or thick, I say somewhere in the middle and it's so easy to slather all over the body. It dries quick to a nice powdery finish which makes my skin feel instantly smooth. It also has a light citrus scent that feels refreshing. On the other hand, I can't speak for the firming properties of this lotion. I do have a little bit of cottage cheese behind my thighs but I haven't used this product enough to see any difference. But I have to say that my skin feels moisturized whenever I use it ^_^

HOW TO
In my opinion, the perfect time to apply body lotion is right after when you get out of the shower while your skin is still moist and your pores are still open. This way your skin can absorb the product easily. I keep it in the bathroom for easy reach and I slather a good amount all over my body.

OVERALL THOUGHT
My aunt couldn't believe I bought this lotion at the drugstore. She said it feels expensive. She only uses Chanel for her creams so she would know haha. Well this only proves that there are good products at the drugstore and they do not have to be expensive to be good lol. I recommend this lotion to everybody. The texture is just right, it moisturizes the skin and it smells fresh ^_^
