“We don’t say it out loud, but I picture my client holding the award so I use a shade that won't distract away from the award,” says make-up artist Bharat Godambe, who did the make-up and nails for the Star Screen Awards' winner Asin with a pearly white shade on both the hands and feet.“Yes, you can match the finger and toenails," says Godambe. "We decided on Rhapsody In White to make it more unexpected and fresh." If you opt for a white-ish shade, make sure it has pearly shimmer to it—save the matte white for Halloween.
