NYX cosmetics recently launched their new HD Studio Photogenic products and, I can't help but get excited. They are finally jumping in the HD bandwagon. NYX claims these products will make the skin appear smoother and flawless, perfect for taking photos as well as everyday use. They have HD foundation, primer, blushes and powders.
HD Grinding Powder, a mineral enriched foundation powder $25. The packaging reminds me of the Smashbox Halo Hydrating Perfecting powder because of the grinder, cool right? It allows you to control how much product you need.
HD Grinding Blush, a mineral enriched powder blush $16.50 has 8 shades to choose from. It's a bit pricey for a powder blush if you ask me, but since it's HD then it must be really good.
HD Eyeshadow Base, an eye primer that will even out the skin tone on the eye lids, saturates the eye shadows and prevents it from creasing $7. Hmmm...I'm a little skeptical on this one since their regular eye shadow bases are not the best. But hey, since they're calling it HD then it better be a good one.
HD foundation, a liquid foundation $15 formulated from photogenic synthesis. The packaging reminds me a little of the MakeupForever HD foundation but does it work the same? I'm really curious to try it.
HD Primer, a foundation primer that will help your foundation last all day $14. I'm a face primer freak so I might try this out too.
What do you guys think of these new HD products? Are you going to get them? Go to www.nyxcosmetics.com to learn more about these products.
