Make-up Breakdown by Aniruddha C

Face
Keeping close to actress Deepika’s skin tone, Aniruddha uses a blend of M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid and M.A.C Studio Fix to give a matte-dewy look. This is followed by M.A.C Select Sheer/Loose Powder.

Eyes
Deepika’s eyes are “her most attractive feature”, feels Aniruddha. The idea is to accentuate the pretty pair to pop like no other. A combination of medium brown (M.A.C Eye Shadow in Cork) and purplish pink eye shadow (M.A.C Eye Shadow in Plum Dressing) has been used on the inner eyelid. The outer corner stands out with a moss green hue (M.A.C Eye Shadow in Flourishing). A silver-gold eye shadow (M.A.C Eye Shadow in Satin Taupe) on the brow bone. The upper and lower lids are outlined with moss green kohl (M.A.C Technakohl Liner in Uniform).
A blend of silver (M.A.C Technakohl Liner in Greyprint) and black kohl (M.A.C Technakohl Liner in Graphblack) is applied under the eye. False eyelashes (M.A.C #4 Lashes) and three coats of M.A.C Mascara X are the dramatic finishing touches.

Cheeks
Deepika has a heart-shaped face with a pointed chin and naturally defined cheekbones. Aniruddha highlights her cheekbones further with a brownish peach blush (M.A.C Powder Blush in Coppertone).

Lips
The lips should not shift focus from the eyes, so they are filled with a baby pink shade (M.A.C Pro Longwear Lipcolor in Durashell).
