Who am I, you're wondering?

I'm just a regular girl who loves makeup! I'm a self-taught makeup artist, born and raised right outside of Atlanta, GA. I'm now living in the same area with my husband, Brad. If you follow me on twitter, you've probably heard about him before! :) After spending my college years majoring in education and teaching little ones, I discovered that I am truly a teacher at heart. However, I had always dreamed of becoming a "real" makeup artist. By combining my love of teaching with my love of makeup, I ventured into the world of YouTube creating makeup and beauty how-to videos with great success. It's truly so much fun and very rewarding knowing that I'm able to teach what I love and share my passion for makeup with others. Through my early experiences doing freelance makeup on others and working beauty retail in my college years, my interest and skills in makeup grew and I began to realize I had a natural talent. I continue to expand my knowledge and skills through books, MAC Master classes, seminars, etc. I truly love the feeling of making others feel beautiful and confident and showing them that when done right, makeup can be more than just eye shadow and lipstick. It's a total transformation. Not just on the outside, but on the inside as well. Good makeup should make you feel as good as you look. From the most natural looks, to the super dramatic, I love bringing out the beauty in each individual. As you can probably tell, makeup is my passion and is truly a creative outlet for me.

While I know this will be enjoyable for me, I'm creating this to share my information with others and to hopefully help others.
