LOOK: Smokey Cat eye with Bright Pink lips.

I love and hate summer at the same time. I'm not looking forward to the hot weather because I don't like to be hot and sweaty. On the other hand, I'm excited about the fact that I get to wear sandals, shorts, tank tops and cute summer dresses again! They've been in my closet for too long lol.

Anyway, I did a summer makeup look for night time. It would be great for a night out with your friends, clubbing or party. It's a smokey cat eye, bronze pinky cheeks with bright pink lips. Normally, I would pair a bright lip color with neutral eyes so it won't look clownish and tacky but since its for night time I made the eyes a bit dramatic by doing a cat eye and smoking it out with a black eye shadow.

for some reason I was having a really bad photo and bangs day ugh! I took so much photos and these are the only ones that came out somewhat decent lol.

LOOK: Wear blue eyeshadow to work!!!

Hey readers! Do you wear eye shadows to work or school? If so, what colors? A friend of mine messaged me on facebook asking if I can suggest an eyeshadow color she can wear to work beside the usual browns and bronze. I said what about blue? She laughed and she said she won't be able pull it off.  So I did this post to prove her wrong. Anyone can wear blue eyeshadow for work and look nice. Just do it very subtle and don't over do it. Its pretty and easy to do. Here's how!

Wearable blue eyes and pink lips

FOTN: Violet Liner and Bright Pink lips.

Whenever I don't put too much effort in my makeup, thats when I get the most compliment. Weird right? But I guess that only shows that makeup does not have to complicated to look beautiful. You can do something simple yet pretty and eye catching. I did this FOTD on friday for work and, I got compliments from all my co workers and even customers ^_^

(The liner appears more bright and intense in person)

This look is sooo easy to do. If you know how to put an eyeliner then you can do this. I used a bright glittery violet gel liner by Stila cosmetics. You can use whatever bright colored eye liner you prefer. It can be in gel, pencil or liquid. Use whatever you are comfortable with.

Ugh! I notice my face is getting chubby lol. I gotta cut back on stuffing my face!

Pinky Natural round lip gloss by NYX and Ed Hardy Surprise.

Hey friends, I hope everyone had a great weekend ^_^ I just want to share my current favorite product. I have so many lip glosses in my makeup collection and I find myself reaching for my round lip gloss in Pinky Natural by NYX a lot. Its such a gorgeous nude pink color and it pretty much goes well with any makeup look I do.

Photobucket

NYX's round lip glosses are great . They are pigmented, non-sticky, long lasting and very inexpensive.

My wondeful boyfriend a.k.a "baby kos" surprised me this weekend with 2 pairs of Ed Hardy shoes. He knew how much I love my really old and worn out Ed Hardy sneakers that he got me not one but two new pairs. For what? No reason at all. Christmas is not until the 25th and, I was really surprised and confused because there was no special ocassion. I guess I must have done something good or maybe It's my early Christmas present ^_^ Oh well, I'm still very thankful.

My old Ed Hardys ^_^

Photobucket

I've worn them almost everyday for a whole year. I didn't have to break them in. They were very comfortable. I also love the funky design and believe it or not, I made it match with whatever I wore ha! I even did a look inspired by these shoes for a makeup contest lol. They might retire but I'm still gonna keep them ^_^

Lookie! They're so clean lol  ^_^

Hey readers! Here is an idea for a look next time you go out with your girlfriends to a party or a nightout. Go for the Sweet Party Girl look. Try layers of shimmery navy blue, pink,  purple with pink lips. This look is so easy to do and the colors are are fun.

Night Owl: shimmery navy midnight blue. Its shimmery not glittery.
Picadilly: dark purple/eggplant (matte)
Love Struck: Pink with minimal shimmer

Layer the colors. Love Struck above the crease using a blending brush, Picadilly on the crease using a crease brush and Night Owl on the lid. Then apply your favorite shimmery highlight on the brow bone. Its more easier to blend when you layer the colors this way. To finish the look, use your favorite pink lipstick and top it off with a pink lipgloss.

These beautiful and affordable eyeshadows ($4.00 each) can be found and purchased at my e-store.
