Stila Girl of the Week: Goldenglow!

I was on the Stila site, when I came across a section of "Stila Girl of the Week", every week they choose "stila girls of the week", this week they chose an Indian girl from California who recently got married. I decided to feature her make-up breakdown on my blog, to keep with make-up trends for Asian women.

"I was introduced to Stila by my hairstylist (thanks Mimi!).. she has tanned skin, and I loved the natural eyeshadow color combo that she had on. I had to go check out the Stila line of products. Now, I can proudly say that half of my makeup stash is Stila products. Love Love Love Stila!

I love Stila Smudge Pot in Gray.. its the easiest way to do a nice smoky eye look that is even appropriate for work. I use my fingers to add graduating depth of this color on the bottom half of my lid, and top it off with lining my eye with the same color using a gel liner brush.

I also love Stila Lipstick in Jo, which is the perfect shade of neutral red on my skintone. It brightens my face up, works very well with my complexion and does not scream RED. In fact, this is the color I picked for my wedding day, topped with Stila Lip Polish in Glaze.

My new favorite from Stila is the EyeShadow Trio in Gold Glow. This gives me the most subtle natural golden eye shadow look which works perfectly with a tanned look, and looks beautiful with hazel eyes. I use the lightest shade as a brow-bone highlighter, the medium shade as an all-over-lid color and the darkest shade for the outer lid and crease."
