Leave it to designer Namrata Joshipura to take a leaf from the winged smokey eye and come up with something funky. M.A.C Senior Artist Vimi Joshi updated the 'luxe-minimalist look infused with color and detail' without losing the reference, thanks to a clean complexion highlighted with metallic lids.
Joshi began by evening out the models' skin tone with foundation, covering up only where required, and a dusting of matte loose powder while lips were dabbed with gloss. She then created a metallic eye by boldly rimming eyes with M.A.C Tarnish Eye Kohl. Next, orange winged-out smokey eyes using M.A.C Eye Shadow in Orange extended out to the temples and onto the bridge of the nose.
Once the eye color was in place, Joshi brushed the top and bottom lashes with a generous amount of mascara and perfected brows with a pencil and clear setting gel. She then enhanced the cheekbones with a contouring and highlighting powder duo, and a slick of gloss on lips added a shiny finish.
