~ LOTD * Smokey Glitters ~

Hello, girls! How are you today? Is it me, or does it smell like spring already? Well, at least it's gotten a bit warmer and the snow has melted, maybe sooner then everyone expected...

Today I'm here to show you a makeup look I wore on the night of new years, but this was only the rehearsal of it, on the previous night, so I'm not wearing any lipstick, just some blush :P... I didn't do eye photos on my new years party, that's why I can't post the original one, but basically this is what it looked like:

Salut, fetelor! Ce mai faceti voi? Mi se pare mie, sau deja miroase a primavara? ESte, ce-i drept, mult mai cald afara decat in urma cu cateva zile, lucru care nu este neaparat comun pentru luna lui Gerar...

Astazi, insa, vroiam sa va arat machiajul pe care l-am purtat in noaptea anului nou, insa acesta este cel din "repetitii", ca sa le zic asa :P, facut cu o seara inainte pentru a vedea daca imi place indeajuns de mult incat sa-l port de anul nou. In seara urmatoare n-am facut poze la ochi, din cauza asta o sa ma vedeti fara ruj sau luciu de buze si cu machiajul doar pe un ochi si blush :D Eu sper totusi sa va placa:

Actually this is a pretty simple look, in which I used just two products as eyeshadows: the Elf quad in "Drama" and a silver glitter from the NYX Glitterati palette.

Of course, I added first a primer and a white jumbo pencil for better adherence and started by applying the lightest gray from the quad on my entire lid, up to the crease.

Acest machiaj a fost realizat relativ simplu, cu putine produse si doar 2 farduri: quad-ul "Drama" de la elf si un sclipici argintiu din paleta Glitterati de la NYX.

Am aplicat un primer si un jumbo pencil alb pe intreaga pleoapa, dupa care am folosit cel mai deschis gri din quad pe care l-am aplicat pe toata pleoapa mobila, pana la pliu.

Then I added the darkest gray in my crease, blending it well with a blending brush. To add more definition, I took the black and placed it in my outer corner, blending well in a smokey effect. I highlighted my inner corner with the matte white and applied the same color on my browbone.

Apoi am aplicat cel mai inchis gri in pliul pleoapei, creand un efect sfumatto cu o pensula pentru blending. Pentru a adauga mai mult dramatism si definire, am plasat negrul in coltul extern al ochiului, amestecand bine culorile pentru un efect smokey. Am adaugat luminozitate privirii aplicand fardul alb mat in coltul intern al ochiului si pe osul sprancenei.

On my lower lashine I repeated the same colors from the upper lid, placing the white on the inner corner, the darkest gray next and then the black on the outer third. I applied a black liquid liner on my upper lashline, a black pencil liner on my waterline and lower lashline, false lashes and mascara.

Pe pleoapa inferioara am repetat culorile de pe cea superioara, aplicand alb in coltul intern, gri inchis pe mijloc si negru la exterior. Apoi am adaugat tus lichid pe pleoapa de sus, un creion negru pe waterline si pe pleoapa inferioara, gene false si rimel, insistand pe genele inferioare.

To create a look a bit more appropriate for a new years party, I took a fine silver glitter and applied it on the center of my lid, in the same place where I applied the lightest gray e/s from the elf quad, passing the crease just a bit also. This was added also on my lower lid, after the matte white eyeshadow.

Pentru a crea un machiaj mai stralucitor, potrivit pentru noaptea de Revelion, am plasat si putin sclipici argintiu fin in acelasi loc in care am aplicat griul deschis, dar si pe pleoapa inferioara, dupa albul mat.

As I said, this was just the rehearsal look :P, so I didn't do my lips too, just a pink blush and contour. You can add a nude lipstick and some gloss or some shimmery lipstick of your choice.

Dupa cum ziceam si la inceput, acest machiaj l-am realizat ca "repetitie", in seara dinaintea revelionului, doar pentru ochi si fata, buzele nu le-am mai machiat, doar obrajii cu un blush. Puteti, in schimb, folosi un ruj nude si putin gloss sau un ruj stralucitor.
