•Art Inspired Makeup * Van Gogh's "Starry Night"•

Hello, girls! How are you today? You know what? Lately I haven't been liking any of the makeup looks that I do, I just think that either I am bad at makeup or my camera has something with me :(... 'Cause most of the times I am satisfied with what I create, but when I look at my pictures I just find the makeup AWFUL! Well not all the times, just lately... I really hope that you'll forgive my lack of skills, somehow I like the idea, but not the outcome. It's just one of those weeks :(... But enough of me whining, :P, today I'm going to show you another makeup look inspired by a famous painting, "Starry Night" by Van Gogh. Hope you like it! ^.^

Buna fetelor! Voi ce mai faceti? Stiti ce? In ultima vreme nu mai imi plac deloc machiajele pe care le fac. Am impresia ca ori am devenit eu stangace (daca nu eram deja) ori aparatul meu de fotografiat are ceva cu mine :(... Pentru ca initial sunt multumita de rezultat, dar dupa ce vad pozele, le tai si pun watermark, parca nu mai imi place nimic din ce vad, mi se par groaznice! Poate nu tot timpul, dar in ultimele dati da. Sper ca-mi veti ierta lipsa indemanarii intr-ale machiajului din viitoare LOTDs, am niste saptamani mai...ciudate, cred! :P Dar gata cu tanguiala, astazi vreau sa va arat un machiaj inspirat de un tablou celebru, "Noapte instelata" de Van Gogh. Sper sa va placa, totusi! ^.^

Start of by applying a primer and a white base all over the lid. Then take the first eyeshadow, a shimmery yellow color and apply it on the inner corner of the eye.

Incepeti prin a aplica un primer si o baza alba mata pe toata suprafata pleoapei. Apoi selectati un galben sidefat si plasati-l in coltul intern al ochiului.

Then take the next color, a medium shimmery blue, and place it next to the yellow. Blend just a little with the yellow eyeshadow. We don't want them fading out, as the yellow will represent them moon and we need it well defined. If we blend too much the blue into the yellow, it will become green, and we don't need that shade on our lid.

Selectati urmatoarea culoare, un albastru mediu sidefat si aplicati-l chiar langa galben. Amestecati doar putin culorile, nu blenduiti prea mult. Galbenul va reprezenta luna si stelele, care sunt bine definite in tablou. Daca blenduim prea mult albastrul cu fardul galben, riscam sa obtinem un verde intre ele, si nu vrem asta aici, pentru acest look cel putin. It's painting inspired, so think canvas, not just makeup :)

After the medium blue, take a darker blue with glitters and apply it right next to it. Now we want a better blending. After that, start defining the crease and the outer corner with an ink/night sky blue eyeshadow, blending it towards the browbone.

Dupa albastrul mediu, selectati un albastru mai inchis si aplicati-l langa. Acum este momentul sa amestecam bine nuantele de albastru. Apoi vom defini coltul extern si pliul cu un albastru inchis cerneala sau cer de noapte, blenduind inspre arcada.

Now take a flesh tone color and apply it on your browbone. Diffuse the dark blue but let it look cloudy on the lid. Repeat with the same dark blue eyeshadow on the lower lashline.

Acum aplicati un fard sidefat de culoarea pielii pe arcada. Amestecati cu albastrul inchis dar lasati culoarea sa para precum un cer innorat, de innoptare. Repetati cu albastrul inchis pe pleoapa inferioara.

Now it's time for the fun part, the glitter :) This will represent the stars on the night sky. So take some yellow glitter and apply it on the center part of the lid. We don't want to overpower the colors, just to give the look a starry shine. Apply some iridescent blue glitter on the lower lashline. This is different as it will represent the lights in the town.

Acum e timpul pentru partea distractiva: sclipiciul! :) Acesta va reprezenta stelele pe cerul albastru. Asa ca selectati putin sclipici auriu si aplicati-l pe centrul pleoapei superioare. Nu vrem ca acesta sa acopere pleoapa in intregime, doar alocuri. Aplicati sclipici albastru iridescent pe pleoapa inferioara - luminile orasului de sub cerul instelat.

Line your top lashline with a dark blue eye liner. I used Elf's "Midnight" liquid liner. Then apply a dark blue eye pencil on the waterline and add mascara to your top and bottom lashes.

For the cheeks, use a pale nude blush and on the lips, some brown lipliner topped with some glittery pink gloss.

Trasati conturul pleoapei superioare cu un tus lichid albastru inchis. Eu am foslosit "Midnight" de la Elf. Apoi aplicati un creion albastru inchis pe waterline si rimel pe genele superioare si inferioare.

Pentru obraji am folosit un maro pal iar pentru buze, creion waterproof maro si luciu de buze rozaliu cu sidef auriu.
