Art Inspired Makeup ~ Munch's "The Scream"

Good evening, ladies! Tonight's makeup is another one from my mini series of looks inspired by famous painters or famous paintings, and this one is inspired by the colors from Edvard Munch's "The Scream". It's all about bold colors, striking combination of shades and alot of layering. Hope you enjoy it! ^.^

Buna seara, doamnelor! :D Machiajul de azi este inca unul din mini seria de look-uri inspirate de tablouri celebre sau pictori celebri, fiind vorba de "Strigatul" lui Munch. Machiajul este unul in culori puternice, combinatii neobisnuite si foarte indraznete. Sper sa va placa! ^.^

First color applied was a matte dark blue e/s on the entire lid. I used the blue color with shimmers from the 120 palette. Then I placed a matte red eyeshadow in my crease, blending the color well into the blue and layering it a little onto the blue.

Prima culoare aplicata a fost un albastru inchis cu sclipici din paleta 120 de culori. Apoi am aplicat un rosu mat in crease, blenduind bine cu albastru si aplicand putin si peste albastru.

Then I blended the red with a matte orange e/s. Of course, in reality, the colors were much better blended, but I don't know what happened to the pics :-/... Anyways :P :) Then I darkened up the crease with an ink blue eyeshadow with glitters from the Nyx "Supermodel" palette.

Apoi am aplicat un portocaliu mat deasupra de rosu (mult mai bine blenduit decat in poza :-/...) si am adaugat profunzime si dramatism privirii printr-un albastru cerneala plasat in crease (albastrul cu sclipici din paleta "Supermodel" de la Nyx).

On my lower lashline I applied a mix of the red with the dark ink blue. Because I didn't think it was dark enough, I placed a little bit of black on the outer corner of the upper and lower lid. I highlighted the inner corner of the eye with a vanilla color, applied on the browbone as well.

Pe pleoapa de jos am folosit un mix de rosu cu albastrul cerneala. Deoarece am considerat ca nu e suficient de intunecat look-ul, am aplicat putin negru in coltul extern al pleoapelor superioara si inferioara. Am plasat un fard de culoarea vanilie in coltul intern al ochiului, culoare aplicata si pe arcada.

I applied mascara, cream liner in black, false lashes and a blue eyeliner on my waterline. On my cheeks I used a pale red blush and on the lips, a brown lipliner and clear lipgloss.

Am folosit un cream liner pentru pleoapa de sus, rimel, gene false si un creion albastru pentru waterline. Pentru obraji am folosit un rosu pal si pentru buze, creion de buze maroniu si luciu incolor.
