LOOK: Wet n Wild Comfort Zone Makeup Look

This is the makeup look I wore to work on Thursday night. I created a smoky bronze eyes with pinky lilac lips. I used my Wet n Wild Color Icon eye shadow palette in Comfort Zone to create the eye makeup. Do you have this palette? If you don't, then you must get it. Every girl should have Comfort Zone in their makeup kit. It's one of the best drugstore eye shadow palette in my opinion. You get 8 gorgeous eye shadows that are unique and highly pigmented. You're not gonna believe it only cost $5! Also, the palette is versatile. You can create numerous eye makeup for day and night time ^_^.

Whenever I wear it to work, I always get compliments from clients and they think I'm wearing MAC ^_^. I'm serious. I have people come up to me and ask about my eye makeup and they are in disbelief when I say I'm wearing Wet n Wild. I tell them MAC is not the only company that makes great eye shadows you know?Man, they need to be educated ^_^.

Wet n Wild Color Icon eye shadow palette in "Comfort Zone". The palette tells you exactly where to place the colors on the eyes. The shadows are labeled brow bone, eye lid, crease and definer. I simply applied the colors as suggested. You don't have to do it this way. You can get creative and apply the shadows wherever you want, but the labels really helps if you you don't know your eye shadow placement.

I really love this palette. The eye shadows are so smooth and it's very easy to blend. I just wished the crease or definer color was matte (no shimmer). All shimmery shadows can look washed out in photos. It looks very pretty in person though.

For my blush, I used "Glow" cream blush by NYX, which is a rosy pink blush. I love it because it makes my cheeks pop. However, you have to be very careful when applying cream blush. Make sure you don't put too much. I used a stippling brush to apply it on my cheeks and blend in circular motion and drag it upwards toward the temples.

For the lips, I used "I Like It Like That" lipstick by MAC. It's from the In The Groove Collection from last year 2010. It's a gorgeous pinky lilac with a cremesheen finish (opaque, creamy and no shimmer). It's so creamy and moisturizing!
