Bridesmaid Teen Makeup Look#1

My family and I will attend my cousin's wedding in 3 weeks, and we are all excited. My niece and I are going to be bridesmaids and I'm going to do our makeup of course ^_^. Today, we played with makeup and tested a look that she can maybe wear at the wedding. The first look is a shimmery copper eyes with natural lips. She's only 16 years old and I want her to look like her age as much as possible. Makeup has the ability to change one's feature, so I was very careful on how I apply her makeup. I want her to look beautiful for the wedding, but not make her look old that guys would start hitting on her if you know what I mean...Oh heck no!

face:
Prepped the face with a moisturizer (Yes To Tomatoes Balancing moisturizer) and lightly apply liquid foundation using a wet sponge (MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC42) and blend it all over the face. Set it with a foundation powder (Mark's Powder Buff foundation in Golden) to keep it in place.

eyes:
Create a dark base by doing a thick line of dark brown (NYX eye pencil in dark brown) starting on the base of the lashes and blend it with q q-tip. Using a wet concealer brush, apply a pinkish copper eye shadow (Wet n Wild Color Icon single eye shadow in Penny) on top of the dark brown base. Wetting the shadow intensifies the color. Blend a soft peach eye shadow on the crease using a fluffy blending brush. Highlight the inner corners of the eyes with a yellow gold shadow (NYX singles eye shadow in Yellow Marigold) and highlight the brow bone with a french vanilla eye shadow. Line the upper lash line with a black eye liner (Physicians Formula eye liner pencil in Black Night) and soften it with a clean q-tip. Apply false lashes (Red Cherry false lashes) to add drama to the eyes. Curl it and apply mascara (NYX Doll Eye mascara).

brows:
Fill in the brows with a soft brown eye shadow using an angled liner brush. I made sure her brows are softer than her natural black hair.

cheeks:
Dust a soft peach powder blush (Avon Smooth Minerals in Hearty Peach) on the apple of the cheeks and blend it upwards towards the temples

lips:
Apply a natural lip liner (Wet n wild lip liner in Willow) all over the lips and top it with a shimmery gloss (Stila lip glaze in Kitten)

The main eye shadow I used on the lids is Wet n Wild Color Icon single shadow in Penny. It's such a beautiful color. It's a pinkish copper shade with gold shimmers. It also has a duo-chrome and chameleon-ish quality to it. The shade changes in different lighting and base you use. It's just unique and beautiful.

Everyone loved how the makeup came out. I will test another makeup look on her so watch out for it ^_^
