Favorite Lip Combo...Soft Orchid and Fashion Diva

I haven't been wearing a lot of makeup, specifically eye shadows. I haven't been in the mood playing with them, which is super weird because I love eye shadows. I was even excited when I got my new Double Stack eye shadow by KKcenterHk with all the bright and fun colors. But I guess I'm in one of those lazy makeup phase where I just don't wanna put anything on my eyes O_o.

So my lazy makeup routine at the moment consist of:
-A sheer application of MAC Studio Fix fluid all over the face,
-Conceal under eye circles with Almay Line Smoothing concealer
-Set it with MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural
-Blush. Any blush.
-Sally Hansen Color Comfort Lip Color in Soft Orchid with Milani 3D Glitzy Glamour gloss in Fashion Diva on my lips.
-And no eye makeup at all.

I've been wearing this lip combo for awhile now. Soft Orchid lipstick is a gorgeous mauvey purple with a luster finish ,while Fashion Diva lipgloss is a purple magenta packed with multi-colored shimmers! I've done a review on this lipgloss here. I wasn't too crazy about the outdated look of the packaging, but the shimmers with purple, pink and silver was absolutely gorgeous! 

Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Color Comfort Lip Color in Soft Orchid. I'm not sure if this lipstick is still available at drugstores. I bought it last year for $7 and forgot I had it. I know, I'm bad! It applies smooth like a lip balm with a creamy consistency of a lipstick and it's non-drying at all. Love it!

As soon as this lazy makeup phase goes away, I'm gonna get back into eye shadow looks again!

"the problem with gloss is it is sticky and that it also attract a lot of dirt, not to forget it is a pain to get off. i have recently started using almond oil and aloe vera gel mixture on my eyes, largely due to under eye issues. i notice that this gives me a great glossy eye look. so i guess just dab some concealer and apply almond oil and some gel so that your lids shine without needing too much oil. let me know how it goes."

Hello girls! I have been missing for a week from the blog and today I am back with a new makeup look, another one inspired by a famous painter. As the title of the painting was too long, I am going to tell you here what that is, made by the controversial Salvador Dali, one of my personal favorite painters, entitled "Geopoliticus Child Watching the Birth of the New Man". It has shades of yellow, white, dark blue and some red, which I have tried to capture in my makeup also. Hope you like it and I apologize for the lack of LOTD's, but my memory card broke down on me and I did not have the chance to buy a new one yet :P

Buna, fetelor! Am lipsit o saptamana de aici de pe blog, dar astazi am revenit cu un nou look, inca unul inspirat de un pictor celebru. Cum numele creatiei a fost prea lung pentru a fi inclus in titlul postarii, il voi scrie aici, si anume "Copilul Geopolitic privind nasterea noului om", de salvador Dali, unul din pictorii mei preferati. Contine nuante de galben, alb, albastru inchis precum si putin rosu, culori pe care am incercat sa le reproduc cat mai armonios pe pleoape. Some red eyeshadow was placed on the center of my lower lid and some yellow in the inner corner. I blended the blue on the browbone using a matte white eyeshadow.

Then I lined my upper lashline with a black cream liner, added some dramatic false lashes and mascara on my bottom and upper lashes.

On my cheeks i used a golden bronzer and on the lips, some dark pink lipliner and transparent gloss.
