* Painting of the day ~ Static Nature With Brush, 2007 *

Hello, ladies! How's your day today? My post for this afternoon is about one of my paintings, as I was asked various times to show them here on my blog. But instead of showing them all at once, I will do a separate post for each of them, speaking a bit about the composition and colors used.
The one I'm presenting here is a painting done about 3 and a half years ago, when I was 20 years old, consisting of a static nature with a bottle, an old vase, a pear and a painting brush with my signature on.

Buna, fetelor! M-am gandit, insa, ca in loc sa le asez pe toate in aceeasi postare, sa fac cate una diferita pentru fiecare in parte, in care sa vorbesc cate putin despre lucrarea respectiva.

So this painting is made in acrylics (guache-tempera) on an A3 size paper, not on canvas. I used various tones of green, red yellow, brown and white, for emphasizing or black for contouring. The method used for this work is called "pointilism", made famous by painters like Seurat or Van Gogh.

For some of the objects, in corners of their shapes, I used circular motions, but for the rest, horizontal or vertical small strokes. You can view some details in the picture above.
*

I didn't use a real natural model for this painting, but instead I was inspired by a picture found randomly in a magazine, and it had totally different colors and shapes in it and it didn't include the painting brush.
*

I know I may be a long way from a true artist, but I enjoy painting and it relaxez me... I hope you've enjoyed this post and please leave your feedback. Honesty is truly appreciated. You don't have to necessarily like my work. Art is different in each person's eyes...

Sper ca v-a placut aceasta mica postare si m-as bucura mult sa va vad feedback-ul.
