I wish you could see all the shades of green that I've used for this look, they were really pretty! Unfortunately, my camera didn't quite pick them up the way I wished it to :(... I wanted to make an "all green" type of look, so this is what I came up with (ps: count how many times I say "green" in this post :P):
I began my look by applying a cold, minty green on my inner part of the lid (Beauty She palette). Then I added my favorite green, my no.78 from Kiko, an "apple green" eyeshadow with a slight gold reflex to it. After that it was time for the Ruby Rose "humid" green shade, darkened up in the crease by a chocolate brown e/s.
The brown shade in the crease was topped with my favorite brown with green iridescent undertones, just to stick more into the green zone:). As my highlighter, I chose a more yellow toned green and placed it near my tear duct and on my browbone (e/s from my DIY yourself Vera Valenti color palette - view here).
For my lower lashline, continued from the mint green on the inner part, a more rusty green was applied on the middle part, followed by a turquoise green on the outer corner. As you can see, I did two versions of this look, one with a second flick on my lower lid, and one simple. That is the only difference, so I thought I keep both versions of this look on the post, as I couldn't decide which one I liked better :P...
Creepy, huh? =)) |
Of course, you are used to the next part: add your favorite liquid liner, mascara, and you're done! :P
But for an even more pop of color, add a turquoise pencil on the waterline. I chose "Flipside" from Urban Decay for a longer wear. As for the cheeks, use a dusty pink blush, add a candy pink lipgloss on your... lips (:D) and you're good to go!
